SPRING 2008 A FISH AND A SHARK film made in my imagination Station Class.
Another awesome Henry Pearl movie. Also Joe Wengerts favorite kids film i ever made. The idea behind this film was that this event happens daily. A fish gets eatin by the same shark every day and he escapes every day only to get eaten again. Adorbs!
The Shark costume alone was a win. The mom happened to have it lying around. this is where i needed to live as a child ‘Costume City’.
I came up with the idea of attaching fish we drew onto green poles which was really fun to try but pretty sure it’s been done before a million ways. Although the people holding the fish were five year olds laying down on a blue screen with poles in their hands, so this little added affect took an hour to shoot. Ha! Well worth it. You give a kid a stick with a fish on the end of it they are going to smack each other with them. Lesson learned.
